Craufurdland Estate

Craufurdland Estate (http://www.craufurdland.co.uk) is situated in the heart of Central Scotland and gives our customers even more choice about where to enjoy their archery experience and is approximately 30 minutes from Glasgow city centre.

We can provide taster sessions and courses at this venue during the week and at weekends.

The 28th Laird of the Craufurdland Clan, alongside his wife and brother, manage and maintian this small historic family estate near Kilmarnock in Ayrshire, offering a wide variety of leisure activities and business enterprises.  The Estate, situated just off the M77, boasts a luxury, self catering holiday apartment together with some unrivalled fly-fishing with its 6 acre lochan stocked with trout and complete with its own welcoming shoreline cafe. There are numerous walking paths and 10km of adventurous mountain bike trails to explore. The Estate also has a burial ground for environmental burial and a pet pastures woodland burial ground. The Castle with all its history and grandeur can be hired for private events and corporate hospitality.

Directions:

From the North:

Take the slip road off M77 (Jct7) for Fenwick and Stewarton, turn left for Fenwick: at the roundabout turn right into Fenwick and follow the road for approx. one and a half miles then take a left down Waterslap (signed for Woodland Burial Ground): go up the hill past the farm on road side: at the next left hand bend you will see a set of gates straight ahead with a sign for the cafe and fishery. Take care crossing this road, go through the gates and continue down the drive until you see a loch on your right hand side. The car park for the archery activities is directly across the road opposite the cafe on the lochside.

From the South:

Take the slip road off the A77 for New Farm Loch and turn right onto what is known as Grassyards Road: follow this road for approx. one mile and turn left (signed for Fenwick), continue across the old narrow bridge and up the hill as the road veers to the right, you turn left through a set of gates. Go through the gates and continue down the drive until you see a loch on your right hand side. The car park for the archery activities is directly across the road opposite the cafe on the lochside.
